Tour of Foster PrideFoster Pride has been helping youth in foster care develop their talents, build self-esteem and express themselves creatively through mentoring relationships and the arts since 1993. Founded by Lynn Schnurnberger, Foster Pride is New York’s only non-profit organisation providing free art, video, photography, music and computer classes as well as scholarships and mentoring to children in the foster care system. The Heartful Travellers who visit New York City have the opportunity to see first hand how the Foster Pride classes give children a sense of pride, inspiration and a renewed confidence in themselves for their future. Find out more about this generous organisation by visiting their website: www.fosterpride.org |
